 This is a Jamaican cookbook with traditional and contemporary recipes. However, rather than just a cookbook filled with funny anecdotes and imperal measurements that would make most self-proclaimed chemists blush, it's also a book with heart. It was written from an outsider's perspective after an unexpected and long soul searching journey. My travels have allowed me to discover a love and passion for Jamacia, my second home. This love had brought me to a new and exciting chapter in my life. I'm married to a Jamaican man, and now the journey had come full circle with marriage of cultures and a need to tell a tale. It's my story told through food, so you are seeing it through my eyes. |
